Welcome to Denmark!
Charlotte Dalgaard Larsen (CEO & Founder) founded Charlie’s Roof (formerly called Copenhagen Housing) in the spring of 2016. It was in her job as in-house housing consultant at DTU (Danish Technical University) that Charlotte learned how fulfilling it was to assist international students and expats in finding their homes in Denmark. She loved it so much that she decided to start an independent business doing exactly that, helping internationals find homes in the rather challenging Danish housing market, and hence Charlie’s Roof was founded.
Here you can listen to a podcast featuring our CEO, Charlotte Larsen, where she discusses how to search for a home in Copenhagen, and the benefits of using a small relocation company like Charlie’s Roof. It’s episode number 3.
”We treat every client as a friend – with honesty, friendliness and professionalism”
For us it’s not actually about apartments and houses: it’s about people. We love the fact that you want to come to our little nation, whether it is for a short or a long stay, and we want to help you make the most of your time in Denmark. Central to that is, of course, finding a place to stay. Having a home is at the very bottom of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, and not having a home can create a lot of stress and anxiety. We promise to do all that we can to help you find a place to live when you are coming to Copenhagen from abroad.
Here you can see examples of how we have helped other people in similar situations as you.
