Our central goal is a simple one: we aim to help as many international clients as possible navigate the notoriously challenging Copenhagen rental market. We always provide a personalised, tailor-made service to our clients, no matter which end of the budget spectrum they fall on. Providing a valuable service to our clients is very important to us, therefore feedback is always welcome as we continually try to improve our service. At Charlie’s Roof we do not want any disappointed clients so we value open and honest communication!
This company started because there was a gap in the market for a new kind of company – a company that would help everybody, not just professors and directors.
Charlie’s Roof was founded in 2016 and after that it went fast. Lars Steen Pedersen, Alison O’ Keeffe, Maiken Whitebridge and Elke Willimek were hired within the first year and a half. Charlotte has always been very focused on getting people into the team who have an international background, who understand the worries you have when moving to a new country.
Our business operates on the premise of good relationships with landlords, but we remain 100% independent in order to have access to all potential housing options and to maintain complete objectivity.
We aim to serve as many clients as possible with their housing needs, from those looking for budget rooms and shared accommodation to those with strict criteria and more financial scope, and our variety of services and prices reflects this. If you have a specific set of requirements do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your requirements.
Why Charlie’s Roof?
Charlie’s Roof is a new kind of relocation company that was previously called Copenhagen Housing. We wanted to change our name to something totally different and recognizable. Because we ARE different. Many companies in our industry have some combination of Copenhagen, Denmark, Housing, Homes that we thought we would shake up our name completely, just like we are shaking up the relocation business.
For us it’s not about apartments and houses: it’s about people. We love sharing this great nation with new people from around the world, and whether you are here for a short or a long time, we want to help you make the most of your time in Denmark. Charlotte Dalgaard Larsen, CEO and founder (and the real life ‘Charlie’) now employs 5 others to help with this goal. We hail from all over Europe so we understand the worries you have when moving to a new country and we are prepared to help in whatever way we can.
This company started because there was a gap in the market for a new kind of company – a company that would not only help professors and directors, but everybody. From diplomats to students to everyone in between, Charlie’s Roof is ready to help you.
